Jennifer has always been interested in working with children who are neurodiverse. From the first time that she encountered a child with autism while doing observation hours for college, she was intrigued and wanted to learn more. She worked at a summer camp sponsored by The Arc of York and then started her first "real job" as an early intervention teacher with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12. While there, she decided to start her master's program in technology for special educators (aka assistive technology). Once she received her Master's Degree, she moved to a new position as an Education Technology Facilitator at Kennedy Krieger High School in Baltimore, MD. Kennedy Kreiger was a school for children with special needs. After moving back to Pennsylvania to deal with some health issues, Jennifer then worked at her alma mater as the Classrooms for the Future Technology Coat, an elementary life skills teacher, elementary computer teacher and gifted teacher. Eventually she decided to make the change to move to the behavioral health field and got her BCBA license. She worked as a TSS then BSC then as a Clinical Director. She has now decided to open her own practice at the prompting of several of her clinicians.
